My name is Ashley, and I have the privilege of serving as the Director of the Eastern NC Christian Homeschool Group (formerly Pamlico Christian Homeschool Group). I stepped into this role in 2025 following Crystal Heath’s retirement, and it has truly been a blessing. One of the greatest joys of this journey is watching our families grow in their faith, form lasting friendships, and create meaningful memories through the experiences we share together as a homeschool community.
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from East Carolina University in 2020. After graduating, I taught middle school at Pamlico Christian Academy before making the decision to homeschool my own children. Before pursuing a career in education, I spent more than eight years working in finance at State Employees’ Credit Union.
I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart, Thomas, since 2009, and we are blessed with two wonderful children, Audrey (12) and Cayton (8). Our family also owns and operates East Ernul Hauling, LLC. We are active members of Broad Creek Christian Church, where I volunteer with the Jars of Clay ministry, which serves individuals with special needs.
Our family is so thankful to be part of this homeschool community, and I look forward to the continued growth, fellowship, and encouragement we share together.
My name is Kassidee, and I am grateful to be part of the Eastern NC Christian Homeschool community. Homeschooling has been such a meaningful journey for our family, and I love the opportunity to connect with and support other homeschooling families along the way.
I enjoy creating hands-on learning experiences and helping children grow both academically and spiritually. Whether it’s organizing activities, helping with events, or encouraging families, I feel blessed to be involved in such a wonderful community.
I am married to my husband, Anthony, and together, we are raising our children, Juniper (8) Violet (8) and Stella (6), with a love for learning and faith. When I’m not homeschooling or spending time with my family, I enjoy painting, cooking, and being involved at Broad Creek Christian Church.
I look forward to continuing this journey alongside other families and building lasting friendships within our homeschool group.
